He got a position of assistant professor at Ulsan College. Congratulations!!!!
On March 1, three outstanding UNIST graduates have been appointed Assistant Professors after obtaining their doctorate in Energy and Chemical Engineering at UNIST. For those that are appointed Assistant Professors, it generally takes about three to four years to achieve the position after a doctorate. However, it only took less than two years for these newly-hired Assistant Professors.
“We feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to study at UNIST. Having graduated from UNIST means so much to us and we are truly proud to be alumni of UNIST,” said Dr. HyoSung Choi (Hanyang University), Dr. JungSoo Lee (Chosun University), and Dr. SeungMin Yoo (Ulsan College).
Dr. SeungMin Yoo received his Bachelor’s degree in the field of Chemical Engineering from Pusan National University and his Master of Science (M.S.) degree in the same field from POSTECH. His Ph.D. was done with Prof. SooJin Park in the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering at UNIST. Prior to joining Ulsan College in March, Dr. Yoo was a researcher at LG Chem Research Park. “Dr. Yoo has over seven years of industrial work experience and is good at handling reseach equipment. I am sure he will become a great teacher,” says his former faculty advisor. Dr.Yoo states, “I will work hard to help foster such high value-added industries in Ulsan as the renewable energy-related fields.”
