Job description
- Heterogeneously integrated laser diodes with a narrow wavelength linewidth and high speed capability are essential to enable next-generation chip modules for sensing and communication.
- You will be involved in building a setup for characterizing such III-V on Si laser diodes and characterizing them as well as writing project reports.
Research environment
- You will have a unique opportunity to characterize state-of-the art III-V on Si laser diodes fabricated in our lab.
- Good publications are expected if successful.
- Working relationship will be friendly with funs.
Working conditions
- Monthly salary before tax: 2.5M KRW to 4.0 KRW depending on experiences
- Contract period: 1 year (can be annually renewed)
- Working time: 9 AM to 6 PM. Part-time working can be discussed
Qualification
- More than 1 year of device characterization experiences of photonic devices.
- Good reading capability of journal papers in English.
